The Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch 10K platform is a high-capacity, high-performance modular Ethernet LAN switch based on our state-of-the-art Alcatel-Lucent Operating System (AOS). It is field proven in enterprise campus, service provider, and data center environments and delivers uninterrupted network uptime with non-stop layer 2 and 3 forwarding and in-service software upgrades. Deep packet buffers, a lossless VOQ fabric, and extensive traffic management capabilities improve application performance and user experience. Its scalability - beyond 5.12 terabits - will meet your bandwidth requirements for today and tomorrow. OmniSwitch 10K’s Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation (MC-LAG) and Ethernet Ring Protection (ERP) simplifies layer 2 network deployments and provides better performance and resiliency. The OmniSwitch 10K’s class leading low-power consumption, front-to-back cooling, compact form-factor, and all front accessible components make it a perfect fit for data center applications and as a long-term upgrade to any network.

The Alcatel-Lucent data center switching fabric providing resilient, low latency and low power to any connectivity. It scales linearly to connect from several hundred to over 10,000 servers. The fabric is designed using the market leading OmniSwitch 10K for the core of the fabric, the new OmniSwitch 6900 for top of rack with 10GigE servers, and the OmniSwitch 6850E for top of rack with a mix of 1GigE and 10GigE servers. Management Tools provide complete management for all devices in the switching fabric. The suite of management tools includes OmniVista 2500 Virtual Machine Management (VMM) for management of VM mobility and integration with standard hypervisors, OmniVista 2500 NMS for Mesh Provisioning and Management,VitalQIP for IP Address Management, and 8950 AAA (Authentication, Authorization and Accounting) for security.

Open Touch Communications Suite
The 2011 Frost & Sullivan Europe ICT Award for Most Innovative European Communications Product of the Year is presented to Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise for its new OpenTouch suite of communications platforms. OpenTouch is a suite of open communications platforms that enable medium and large enterprises to fully leverage SIP technology for flexibility of deployment, protection of their legacy infrastructure, a wider choice of user devices, and delivering collaboration applications.

Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Office Rich Communication Edition

An integrated communications system for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), the Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Office Rich Communication Edition* provides a personal communications manager (PIMphony), an advanced call center solution (Alcatel-Lucent OmniTouch Call Center Office) secure high-speed Internet access, advanced TDM and IP telephony and LAN switching. Phones

Alcatel-Lucent offers a wide array of phones for all business needs, including IP phones, digital phones, mobile handsets and attendant consoles. The Alcatel-Lucent OmniTouch™ 8082 My IC Phone introduces a new category of endpoints, called smart deskphones, for delivering new deskphone functionality. It offers an unprecedented level of comfort at the desk, thanks to its high-quality wideband audio capacity and its always-on availability.

Using its capacitive haptic touch screen with rich contextual menus, My IC Phone delivers the intuitive interface of a smartphone. They offer superior-quality audio and an optimized design with a large, high-resolution screen. The 4068 IP Touchincorporates a color display and the freedom of Bluetooth wireless technology. Two models from this range (IP Touch 4008EE & 4018EE) can also be configured as Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) endpoints and therefore, operate in a standard SIP environment.
